"While studying art in college and graduate school, I explored different materials and concepts. Pushing myself hard, getting to the real reasons of why I create art. It was challenging and I like to think of the work produced as a nourishing meal. Yet there was work that I loved to make that could not fit into that academic world. Every now and then I like to create work that is just fun. I like to think of this work as candy, maybe not as nourishing but definitely fun to consume.
Trying to find a home for this work I created BabyGrapes designs; work that is pure candy. It is based out of my studio in Ohio. I hope it brings as much joy to people as I have creating it."
