Art (good art) Speaks to the Soul
...We sometimes experience Sehnsucht after confronted by the beauty of art, music or nature. They speak to our souls, awakening a longing for something we can't quite explain, perhaps because we have never quite experienced it in this world.
C.S. Lewis calls it a desire for a far off land. And the art, music, nature is like a message from that land.
"These are a scent of a flower we have not yet found, the echo of a tune we have not yet heard, news from a country we have never yet visited."
-C.S. Lewis
