RE: Opening. To answer the burning question, YES we’re open- we are here (the lights are on and we’ve been working hard!). We’ve made the decision to continue operating BY APPOINTMENT ONLY until threat to health becomes less of a concern.  What does that mean? We ask that you call or email ahead (24 hours preferably, but will accommodate “hey, can I bring something in for framing in an hour?”). We also have a form on our website that you can use to book, if you’re feeling bashful. We don’t bite! (we can’t-we're masked!). If you are new to visiting the gallery, you don’t have to intend to purchase something to make an appointment. Feel free to contact us to see the current exhibit- the shows will go on! We cherish our clients, patrons and partners. All we really want is for everyone to be safe and healthy, so we ask that you arrive to your appointment masked. There are lengthy details on our homepage, contact page, and provided below in "read more"- about what we are doing to keep our space safe for your visit, this update is long enough, and we know you all are reading so many of these! Covid-19 Response and forward procedure [as of the posted date above]

Gilded Pear Gallery is By Appointment until further notice. We’re available to all of our existing and new clients to work together digitally and through video communications to continue to provide all of our services. Non-contact deliveries can be made locally as well as shipping coast to coast.

We want you to know that we are taking your health, and ours, seriously. Here’s what we’re doing behind the scenes prior to your visit and what to expect during your time in the gallery.

• The gallery is sanitized everyday when staff arrives and after every appointment. Sanitizer is available to guests inside the gallery.
• The gallery is limiting in-gallery visitors to (2) people per appointment + (1) staff member. Staff rotates as necessary based on the appointment. Appointments can be made for any number of services at this time: Viewing the current exhibit and/or the rest of the represented artists on display, project development, commissions, custom framing, purchase pick-ups, fine art appraisals…etc.
• We are set up for virtual meetings and will provide devoted time to clients working on projects at their convenience.
• We ask that all patrons and staff to be masked during appointments and take common-sense health precautions recommended by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), such as frequent hand washing, common hygiene etiquette, and physical distance.
• Staff will be screened for signs of fever prior to arrival.
• Free local delivery is currently being offered until further notice for purchases made on the website. Our service area for “local” is considered 30 miles in proximity to the gallery. 
• Purchases can be made online by submitting an inquiry- available on each artists’ page as well as the current exhibit page on our site. A digital invoice will be sent to you and we will connect with you about how you would like to receive your purchase.
• Gift certificates are available in any denomination. Contact the gallery to purchase.
