Gallery News: ISA Conference 2024

 We're headed to Canada! Our appraisers Suzy (ISA, CAPP) and Lauren (ISA) are going to the International Society of Appraisers annual Assets conference. Plan ahead for framing and other services/projects with Suzy and Lauren before April 22nd. ​

Gallery will be OPEN April 22nd-26th and CLOSED Saturday April 27th. 
Open regular business hours the week of April 29th. 
Art purchases can still be made on our website: pick up anytime during open hours--shipping resumes 04/29. 

Since our last update, Lauren has been officially practicing as a personal property appraiser and is nearly to her goal of achieving her Accredited Member milestone! Suzy will be participating in the Advanced Methodology Case Studies course which is only available to appraisers with advanced credentials. Fun fact: Suzy is the *only* ISA appraiser in the state of Iowa with CAPP credentials. There are roughly 100 in the United States with a focus in Fine Art. CAPP (Certified Appraiser of Personal Property): The highest achievement in ISA credentialing and the appraisal industry, signifying appraising expertise, professional development, and advanced skills. An ISA CAPP member has 900 documented hours of appraisal reporting and has passed the CAPP examination.

Additionally, we're looking forward to this year's sessions, panel discussions and speakers. The central theme of the conference is  "Tradition Meets Innovation" which, we're sure, will be illuminating! We continue to invest in keeping our services up-to-date with the latest methods and technologies while keeping a pulse on the art market at large.
